Project 365 - Day 72. Tonight's Gonna Be A Good Night | Delafield Childrens Photography

Going out to dinner with 4 kids ages 7 and under is not easy.  Period.  But eating out is something Rob and I enjoy doing and so we've just always brought the kids along.  On average, we eat a couple of dinners a week out.  Tonight was dinner at our family favorite, Texas Roadhouse.  We are such big fans of that place!  Seriously, where else could we go and all 6 leave feeling like we've had a good meal for $36?  With tip!  And a couple of beers!  It's a bargain and about the easiest place with the kids....good booths, loud music, occasional dancing.  Perfect for us.  And smiles to prove it.

Then we had a great family moment on the way home.  We were pulling into the driveway and one of our favorite family songs came on....I've Got A Feeling by Black Eyed Peas.  We were pulling in the driveway and Clare started to complain that it was coming on just as we were getting home.  So Rob told her we could let it play as long as she was dancing.  So, sitting in my van in the garage, we cranked up the radio and started dancing in our seats.  I mean...we were really jamming and singing loudly.  Even Emma!   Well...everyone except Corey.  He was deeply engrossed in his DS but still.  It was a really great moment with our van shaking side to side and everyone smiling.   I hope I never forget it.
