Boys Will Be Boys

I first met my friend Amy when our oldest boys (Corey and Sam...both starting 1st grade tomorrow) were still babies and our kids have grown up having playdates together. Even though we don't get together as often as we'd like anymore, the kids always have a great time and the boys quickly pulled out their (stick) light sabers and started their Star Wars battles. So, it was a lot for me to ask poor Sam and Lincoln to come away from the entertainment to spend time with boring 'ol me but they were great sports and I tried to make it as fun as possible. I'm no Corey, but I did my best and they humored me. :-)

I just had a look and I got a lot of cute shots of each of the boys and even of the two of them together so I'm really pleased! Hope you like them too, Amy...these first black and white ones are for you:

And, just for fun, these ones are for Sam and Lincoln! Thanks guys!

Waiting for "Baby Somebody"

Today I met a young woman who is new to the area and in the same Mom's Group that I've been a part of for the past 6 years. She is due in mid-September and came over with her daughter Halley, who is just a month older than my 3rd (they're 2). The girls had a great time playing on the playset while Jenny and I had a great time with my camera! This was my first outdoor maternity shoot and I really loved it! Very fun for me and Jenny was so open minded, not to mention beautiful! I asked Halley if her new baby brother or sister had a name and she said "Baby Somebody". What a great name...I think that could stick!! :-) Enjoy...

Look at that perfect bump...not a single touch-up!

Big Sister Halley
Thanks for your open-mindedness, Jenny! I can't wait to meet Baby Somebody!

Welcome Baby Archer

My husband has been friends with Andy for over 15 years and has watched his kids grow into young adults. Today we had a chance to catch up with them and meet the next generation...Chase (13 months) and Archer (2 weeks). We had a really nice visit and I was able to take a bunch of pictures of Archer and some of the new big brother and the rest of the family.

Here are a few to hold everyone over....
