Project 365 - Day 170. WOWZA Maternity Sneak Peek | Oconomowoc Maternity Photographer

Ok, so....WOW!

For those that are Facebook followers, you may recall that I put a request out for a brave mama-to-be to have birth photos taken.  The deal is that this lucky, open-minded mom would get a maternity session, birth session AND a newborn session as a Thank You for letting me be there to photograph the baby's birth.

Well, stay tuned for more of this family since they are expecting their TWINS in late August / early September and yes....I'll be there!!

Today was actually the first time we'd met face-to-face and we did so at the most beautiful property!  It was SO hard to pick just a handful of favorites to share because there were so many but here they are.   LOADS more to come Neelye.  Thanks so much to you all for trusting in me.  We're going to have a great time!

PS  I'm still looking for one more birth model so if you or someone you know is expecting later this year and potentially interested, contact me for more info!  Thanks!

Baby Somebody = Baby Drew

Last night I had an incredible opportunity to shoot Baby Drew (previously known as "Baby Somebody" by his awaiting family. Drew was about 27 hours old when I met him and it was a real privilege to be among the first people to meet this gorgeous little guy! I photographed Mom and big sister several weeks ago and been really looking forward to his arrival.

Mom was already doing great...a seasoned pro, obviously! I, on the other hand, stumbled around a bit trying to figure out the best way to set up a studio in a hospital room. And dear Drew could think of quite a few things he would rather have been doing than watching my light flash at him so we modified our plan a bit and settled for just a few shots with the hope of a follow-up once Mom and Drew are happily back at home.

I did manage some cute ones though...how can you not with such a gorgeous subject!?! Enjoy, Jenny....I'll have the rest for you soon.
